Chris Englert

Chris Englert has enjoyed being part of the development of young athletes.  He has helped shape them into confident, respectful, and competitive disciplined athletes and scholars.  Chris has been competing, coaching and training volleyball for 25 years. 

In 2001 Chris was part of a 4's coed team that took 1st at Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In 2002 Chris played in the Wallyball Nationals in Los Angeles, CA, where he took 1st in Men's A doubles, 2nd in Coed 3's Open, and 1st in Coed A doubles. 

From 2002 to 2006 Chris directed the youth volleyball clinics in South Jordan for athletes between ages 9 and 18.  Many of the participants went on to play High School,  Club, and College Volleyball.  In 2005 Chris coached the Riverton High School Boys Volleyball team.  They went from not knowing how to play volleyball to taking 2nd place in the Silver Division. 

Chris continues to play wallyball and volleyball both indoor and outdoor.  He plays doubles, triples, quads, in coed and men's divisions.  Chris works full time as a computer Programmer for OC Tanner.  Chris and his wife, Melissa, own a restaurant in Draper called Wing Nutz.  He is retired from the Air Force, but continues to lend his services on the board for the Wendover Historic Museum and Air Show.
