About Us
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing opportunities in all aspects of volleyball: basic training, technique, strength training, and sports psychology. The Club was founded by Kim Norman in 1989 to support the region of Intermountain USA Volleyball and the national governing body of USA Volleyball.
Mission Statement
High Country Volleyball Club aims to train gifted young athletes for levels of competition not readily available through municipal, recreational or athletic certified high school programs. The Club also wants to provide exposure and recruitment opportunities for collegiate bound athletes enabling them to obtain athletic scholarships and financial aid, thereby giving them opportunity to pursue their academic goals.
This Club intends to offer gifted junior athletes exposure to college recruiters by playing club volleyball regardless of their individual economic circumstances through philanthropic donations to help subsidize their cost.
Over the past decade, High Country graduates have gone on to play for the nation's top Universities and Junior Colleges.
With these goals in mind, High Country Volleyball Club is proud to play a major part in training, molding and nurturing young talent to become contributing members of society.
